45 minutes chapter 2

"OK, guys, we may be 0:3 behind but we still have 45 minutes left to win this game," said Arlenborought FC manager Geoffrey Saunders to his players. "We have come a long way and we are so close winning this title. OK, we are trailing but if we stick together I belive that we will win this game. So, what to you think? Do we have a chance to win it?"

"I belive that we do," replyed teams center back and captain Matt Holland.
"I think that do, coach," said teams left winger Carl Henning.

So did the rest of the team.

"OK, that's great. But I'm going to take two substitutions. I'm going to take out Larry (teams center midfielder) and replace him with Kennedy (center forward) and take out, mmm, Masterson (teams right back) and replace him with Dudemaister (right midfielder). Is this OK to everybody?"

Team agreed.

"It's not that you made a poor match but we need to start attacking more. We got nothing to lose, only yo gain."

Before the second half manager made the changes what he said before and sencond half begone.

47. minute: Arlenborought got a free kick from their own half. Holland took it. He send the ball to the opposite teams 16 yard box were Kennedy had a chance to score. But unforunatly he missed the target.

53. minute: Arlenborought got a corner. Dudemaister took it and send the ball into the penaltybox were defenders send it clear.

63. minute: Arlenborought made their third subtitution. Martin Hunt (Estonian left midfieldes) replaced Lewis Carroll (teams left midfielder).

65. minute: Two minutes after coming to the pitch Hunt got a chance to take a free kick from 22 yards. He shoot but hit the bar. Rebound was catched from Kennedy who scored with his head. Score was now 1:3.

69. minute: Opposite teams goalkeeper made a goal kick. But before hitting the ball he slipped and the ball was caught by Hunt who shoot the ball over the keeper and made it 2:3.

78. minute: Arlenborought got another corner. Hunt took it. He sent the ball to the 16 yard box were it was cleared by the goalkeeper. Rebound was caught by Masterson who shoot on target but the ball was cleared off the line by a defender.

84. minute: Arlenborought midfielders passed the ball in the middle of the field. Then one of the midielders passed it to Hunt to dribbeled it past the opposite team defender. Then Hunt crossed the pall into the box were Kennedy had a shot. Keeper saved the first attempt but the striker managed to score from the second shot. Score was now 3:3.

Arlenborought managed to draw the score.

92: minute: Arlenborought got a penaly kick and who else then Hunt went to took it. If he scores then his team wins, but when he misses, game goes to extra time. Hunt waited for refferees whistle and then he charged toward the ball. He made a right footed shot to the left bottom corner and he scored. Keeper jumped the other way. Score was now 4:3 to Arlenborought.

After the full time whistle Arlenborought had something to cheer about. Team captain Matt Holland lifted the trophy up in the air and celebration started.
